Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnish All Necessary Supplies, Labor & Equipment for Snow & Ice Management Services for the Harper Professional Center (HPC), 650 E. Higgins Rd., Schaumburg, IL 60173 and the Learning and Career Center (LCC), 1375 S. Wolf Rd., Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Remove all snowfall accumulations from the agreed locations from drive lanes, parking spaces, dock areas, fire lanes, sidewalks and trash enclosures when snow or icy conditions exist by 6:00 a.m. Contractor will use what it deems the best method to clear accumulations. (a) One-inch (1”) or greater snow accumulation will be cleared by plowing and shoveling, but depending on timing and weather conditions, a series of chemical applications could be used. (b) Less than one-inch (1”) accumulation will be treated with a chemical application, however, the contractor may clear it with plowing and shoveling if weather conditions and temperatures dictate.
