Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Supplying semi-dump trucks, with drivers, to haul snow from the Glen Ellyn CBD to a site approximately 2 miles from the business district. The number of needed trucks will depend upon the amount of snow that has fallen or predicted to fall. B. The Village of Glen Ellyn will provide an operator and a front-end loader equipped with a snow thrower to load the trucks. If the snow thrower is inoperable the Village will provide multiple front-end loaders with operators to accomplish the goal of removing the snow from the CBD streets and parking facilities. C. The Village of Glen Ellyn also seeks pricing for additional snow removal equipment and operators if an emergency event occurred where assistance was needed.
