This project is located in the City of Taylorville, Christian County, Illinois and consists of removal and replacement of approximately 1675 lineal feet of sidewalk and other related work on the east side of S. Main Street between Adams St. and approximately 200 feet south of Powell Street, on the south side of Adams Street between Walnut Street and Pawnee Street, the west side of Pawnee Street between Adams Street and Franklin Street, the intersection of Adams Street and Washington Street, and the intersection of Adams Street and Main Street including sidewalk removal, driveway pavement removal, pavement removal, inlet removal, storm sewer removal, incidental hot-mix asphalt surfacing, Portland cement concrete sidewalk, storm sewer, inlets with frame and grate, manholes, detectable warnings, fertilizing, seeding and mulching, traffic control and protection, and other related work. Pavement reconstruction work will take place at the intersections of Adams Street and Washington Street and Adams Street and Main Street. Storm sewer improvements will take place at the intersection of Adams Street and Main Street.
