Specifications include, but are not limited to:University’s Need for Supplies / Services: Western Illinois University is seeking a professional security service (unarmed) to protect personnel, students, visitors and University property at the Quad Cities Campus. 5.2 Supplies / Services Required: 5.2.1 Provide random foot patrols of the exterior and interior of the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront campus facilities at 3200 and 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL, 61265. 5.2.2 Relock opened doors as well as stop and challenge individuals in and around the facility during those hours deemed appropriate. 5.2.3 Respond to requests for checks of suspicious persons by Western Illinois University Quad Cities contact personnel or the Moline Police Department. 5.2.4 Perform twice daily checks of building and grounds at 3561 60th Street, Moline, IL until the property is sold. Any transportation needed by the security personnel on or between sites must be provided by the vendor. 5.2.5 Required staffing provides for a minimum of one officer on site at the 3200 and 3300 River Drive site whenever buildings are open. Generally, operational hours are from 7AM – 10PM throughout the week and 7AM - 4/5PM on weekends. In addition, an officer is on site from 9AM-5PM on weekdays as this has been identified as peak ` time. Continuation of staffing at this level is desired but could be decreased at the University’s discretion during the contract period. 5.2.6 Check for exterior door and window damage/tampering as well as exterior and parking lot light defects and report on appropriate form. Report all unsafe conditions to building representative. 5.2.7 Enforce parking rules and regulations using Western Illinois University parking ticket forms. Western Illinois University personnel will collect and process tickets after issuance. 5.2.8 Upon request, provide safety escorts to any individual who may fear threat of bodily harm while going to and from their parked vehicle or other mode of transportation. 5.2.9 Respond to all calls or alarms concerning fire and notify the City of Moline, as appropriate. 5.2.10 Respond to calls concerning criminal offenses and contact local police. Respond to and assist in reports of injuries and contact local medical services. 5.2.11 Provide daily summaries of activities related to the
