Respondents shall provide an evaluation and assessment of 43-Buildings that have undergone modernizations and have passed the City of Chicago’s Final Elevator Inspection, as outlined: Complete an evaluation and assessment of 43 buildings having already passed the city’s final inspection to ensure all necessary and required work contracted during the modernization program was completed. Assess the hoist way door and related equipment, make replacement recommendations, note if crossconnections exist, and check the brake setup and the function conditions. The consultant will also inspect and assess all systems operating to determine actual condition and recommend needed service, quality of installed components, existing equipment sizing calculations and opinion, current materials lifecycle evaluations and future needs recommendations replacement, or upgrades as necessary.
