The Foundation has done an exceptional job at maintaining the barn, preserving history and allowing park patrons the ability to walk around and take a step into the past. The items sold are relative to the Agency's mission to "manage, conserve and protect Illinois' natural, recreational and cultural resources, further the publics understanding and appreciation of those resources, and promote the education, science and public safety of Illinois' natural resources for the present and future generations." The Park benefits 100% from the revenues generated by the foundation.
