Based on the project description, the Village has identified an anticipated scope of the consultant services that may include but is not limited to the tasks below. The Consultant shall perform and carry out, in a professional and satisfactory manner, the services necessary to at minimum complete these tasks. 1. Preparatory Work, Topographic Survey and Field Investigation a. Meet with Village staff to gain an understanding of the scope of work. b. Review Village GIS data including public utilities. c. Conduct supplemental topographic survey with a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), if needed. d. Review existing conditions in the field to identify areas of special concerns or potential challenges. This includes identify private utilities that may be in conflict with the project. e. Review of Phase I PDR. The consultant shall include any necessary resubmittals or coordination necessary to extend the design approval timeframe or environmental clearances if required by IDOT or any other jurisdictional agency. f. Complete Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) according to IDOT requirements. g. Verify existing project information obtained in Phase I and provide any supplemental information deemed necessary by the consultant.
