Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project includes three parts. Part one is remove existing three-tab shingles down to roof sheathing. Inspect sheathing for water damage, roof rot, or other protentional problems. Replace as needed. If it becomes a complete re-sheet then a change order must be filled out and approved by the construction officer. Install Ice and snow guard in valleys and perimeter of bottom edge of roof lines. Install water barrier over the remaining sheathing. Replace turtle style roof vents with new units. Install new plumbing boots, flue flashing, and boot for the electrical mast. Install 30-year architectural shingles (Owen Corning’s) preferred. Part two secure the soffit and fascia on the front of home, install new where the few pieces are missing. Part three remove electrical outlet and light on the front porch. Install new inexpensive LED exterior porch light with the original electrical opening. Add a GFCI all weather box and receptacle to the front door per code. This work must have Building Permit and Electrical permit, which shall be valid before work begins.
