Vendor to run the Concession at Rock Cut State Park.. IDNR is seeking a Vendor to operate a concession with a restaurant, bait shop, boat rental, camp store and swimming beach at Rock Cut State Park located in Loves Park, Illinois. Through IDNR programs and in conjunction with the Vendor, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources seeks to improve overall visitor satisfaction by ensuring high quality visitor services while broadening the economic base of the region and the communities of the surrounding parks. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: Vendor shall be required to have the concession operation open to the public for the purpose of serving guests at the concession as per the hours/dates listed in Section 1.4.1. Restaurant: Vendor must offer prepared food as well as ice cream and hot and cold beverages. Bait Shop: Vendor must sell at minimum: worms, minnows, bobbers, Illinois Native Firewood, and bagged ice. In addition, the vendor shall rent at a minimum 10 tandem kayaks, 10 single kayaks, 4 Jon boats and 5 peddle boats. Camp Store: Vendor must sell at minimum Illinois Native Firewood and Bagged Ice. Vendor also must sell non-alcoholic beverages and prepackaged snacks if the Business Enterprise Program for the Blind vending machines are not installed at the camp store. Beach: Vendor shall operate the Olsen swim beach and charge admission. Vendor also must sell bottled water if the Business Enterprise Program for the Blind vending machines are not installed at the beach.
