The 24” corrugated metal pipe (CMP) that runs between 5908 and 5906 Deer Trail is failing and has caused sinkholes to form in the adjacent yards. The Village wishes to replace the existing CMP with a 24” High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe with a smooth interior. All work regarding the installation of storm sewer pipe shall be according to the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition. All work shall be accomplished within the confines of the existing easements. If the contractor requires additional room to complete the work, the contractor shall coordinate with the respective property owners. Any damage, or subsequent restoration thereof, that takes place outside of the existing easements will be the sole responsibility of the contractor.
