The project consists of a comprehensive fire safety systems upgrade at the Warrenton Readiness Center, a Virginia Department of Military Affairs facility located at 692 Waterloo Road, Warrenton, Virginia. The work includes the removal and replacement of existing fire protection and life safety systems within an occupied, operational building. Major components of the project include the installation of a new building-wide automatic fire sprinkler system, replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new, fully compliant fire alarm and signaling system, and associated electrical power, controls, devices, and system integration. Existing sprinkler piping and heads will be removed or abandoned as required, and new piping, valves, fire department connections, and system components will be installed in accordance with applicable NFPA standards and Virginia codes.
