This item shall consist of removal of existing airport wind cones and installing airport wind cones (furnished by the Airport). The Contractor shall retrieve the new wind cones and all associated components from the designated storage location at the Airport and transport them to the project site at no additional cost to the Contract. The work shall include the furnishing and installation of a support for mounting the wind cone, the specified interconnecting wire, and a concrete foundation. The item shall also include all cable connections, conduit and conduit fittings, the furnishing and installation of all lamps, ground rod and ground connection, the testing of the installation, close coordination with the Airport and manufacturer for the installation of wind cones, and all incidentals necessary to place the wind cones in operating condition as a completed units to the satisfaction of the Resident Engineer.
