Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow removal for the following regional centers for the 2017-2018 Winter Season, 2018-2019 Winter Season, and 2019-2020 Winter Season: Naperville Regional Center, Westmont Regional Center, Carol Stream Community Education Center. • The total removal of snow from all parking lots and parking lot entrances, sidewalks and entrances to the buildings. This could possibly include the hauling of excess snow off site in the event of heavy snowfall. Contractor shall be responsible for identifying suitable dump sites and shall provide a unit cost for disposal as part of the proposal. • The salting (Rock Salt) of all parking lots and their entrances to maintain a safe driving surface. • The spreading of 100% potassium chloride with grit for ice control to all sidewalks and building entrances to maintain a safe walking surface (composition which shall be harmless to grass, trees, shrubs, carpets & floors). No white residue. Rock salt and other corrosive materials are not acceptable for sidewalks or entrances. • Access drive to parking lot areas is to be included for snow plowing and salting services.
