The City of Des Plaines (“City”) invites qualified firms to submit proposals to provide recordkeeping services, consolidating and administering its 457(b), 401(a), and Retirement Healthcare Savings plans. The purpose of the RFP is to identify and retain a single recordkeeper that will (i) ensure a seamless transition of the City’s retirement savings plans to its platform; (ii) offer an open architecture investment platform and fee structure that deliver value to City employees; and (iii) provide bundled recordkeeping services and administrative support for the plans; (iv) provide financial education to support City employees in achieving retirement income security. If additional services are required as it relates to this project, the City may, at its sole discretion, elect to use the services of the vendor selected with this RFP.
