Specifications include, but are not limited to:General Specifications: •All repair and testing standards must meet or exceed “EASA AS-100 2010” standard, the “recommended practice for the repair of rotating electrical apparatus”, unless specific instructions are called out below. •Provide detailed electro-mechanical measurements, test records, and pictures of the conditions found. •Clean and inspect. •Include a class “H” rewind with the slot fill maximized for minimized copper losses. Calculate/furnish all magnetic densities, volts per coil, volts per turn, and provide the original and as wound data including wire circular-mil per ampere from the existing winding and as wound. • All the coil to coil connections will be “U” or “series” type (no stubs are allowed). The VPI impregnation resin shall be “solvent-less epoxy” only. • The impregnation records must include part temperature, capacitance, vacuum, pressure, and the associate times in each of the process cycles. • Lead cables shall be 5Kv minimum. • Provide the last four quarterly resin sample reports with your bid package. • Perform, document, and provide reports for all electrical testing. To include: stator core, rotor core, insulation resistance, surge, hipot, step-voltage test, inductance, phase resistance, and “RIC” (rotor influence check) results
