Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) desires to implement an Illinois Recycling Education Program. The vendor will develop and provide a tool kit per county, an interactive map, and smartphone app to identify recyclables and what to do with nonrecyclables. These services will produce a holistic recycling education program to help all Illinois residents understand how to properly dispose of household waste. Using the technology, residents will be able to identify recycling options specific to their location and the item they want to dispose of. A number of counties and municipalities have already enrolled. The State would like to request a quote to maintain these services for the enrolled counties and municipalities only.
