Specifications include, but are not limited to:City Hall main floor and lower level will be completely re-wired with the old cat5e infrastructure to be removed once the new cable plant is installed, tested and live. All new CAT6 data cable will be pulled to existing locations with the additions of some new locations (appendix A). The new cable plant will be terminated separately from the existing cable plant in a manner and schedule that will conform to instructions from the network administrator Kerzi Peterson. Cabling will be required to provide data to WiFi access points, door security systems, video surveillance systems, phones and computers. Existing racks will be used to homerun all new cable with the locations being specified by MIS. The main floor MDF will be dressed up. Rack to rack cable management will be installed, additional cable management will be added to each rack and the landing area of the new cable plant will be appropriately dressed and labeled. Some existing coax, fiber and other cabling not included in the new cable plant may need to be re-routed and reconnected to complete the cleanup goal at the MDF
