Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will be available, on an as-needed basis, to perform the following tasks for the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency: • Conduct a site survey to estimate relocation requirements. • Prepare a budget and schedule to achieve the relocation required. • Prepare a relocation plan. • Provide all necessary notices. • Provide information and counseling to all impacted individuals, attend tenant meetings if appropriate. • Conduct an appraisal for the business relocation, if necessary. • Conduct negotiations with the business owner. • Assist in the location of sites for a business relocation. • Locate comparable, replacement and referral units for tenants. • Coordinate and approve moving and related expenses. • Calculate accurate relocation benefits. • Maintain all required records and documentation for program and financial audit purposes. • Provide advice to Agency staff regarding relocation laws and regulations.
