Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Governors Office of Management and Budget (GOMB) is seeking professional services to assist in establishing and operating a Project Management Office (PMO) that shall assist the States executive leadership in managing and overseeing its effort to procure and implement Tier-1 enterprise resources planning (ERP) software and systems integration services (together, the ERP Solution) across the agencies responsible to the Governor (henceforth, the State). A Tier-1 ERP Solution is distinguished from a lower tier (i.e., Tier-2, Tier-3, etc.) solution in that Tier-1 solutions serve large global businesses, are scalable, address the requirements of a large multinational corporation and, generally, are more complex, and requires more complicated hardware and highly-skilled information technology (IT) professionals, than a lower tier. This initial effort involves business process optimization, gathering new and consolidating requirements, project management, strategic planning, and preparatory activities.
