The City of Peoria invites qualified professional engineering Firms to submit their Qualifications for Program Manager Municipal Engineering Services in the areas of transportation, stormwater, sewer/combined sewer, construction and Solid Waste – Landfill. Program management will consist of recommending future projects, program budgets, and overseeing consultants that are performing planning, design, construction engineering and other engineering services, with strong focus on the following as overarching responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate a group of related projects within the department, ensuring they align with the strategic goals by managing resources, tracking progress, and facilitating collaboration across different inter-city departments/divisions and achieve the overall program objectives, taking a broader view compared to a project manager who focuses on individual projects alone; essentially, they act as a strategic leader for complex initiatives within the Department.
