Real-time tracking of products B. Track lot#, serial#, expiration date C. Track tissue and implants for designated procedural departments D. Standardize approach to inventory management (centralized, common methods, metrics, systems) E. Integrate into Oracle (ERP) and Cerner (EHR) systems F. Visibility of product usage by department, including forecasting and par level management G. Rotate inventory H. Better reporting, e.g., which supplies dispensed by which caregiver, for which patient for high dollar items I. Reduce waste J. Improve charge capture, increase revenue K. Secure our inventory asset L. Free up clinician time for patient care M. Increase supply chain and clinical labor efficiency for replenishment and management of supplies to the clinical departments N. Make storage locations neater and more orderly O. Introduce accountability of staff for supplies
