Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Village is seeking proposals for engineering services associated with the Manor Drive Easement Watermain Rehabilitation. There is one, one-inch water service within the watermain rehabilitation limits serving a ComEd substation bathroom approximately 100-feet to the east. The water main to be rehabilitated is currently not active and will remain closed until the rehabilitation is complete. The project is within local jurisdiction and will be funded locally. The Village hired Chastain & Assoicates to prepare a technical report (attached) reviewing various methods of rehabilitation including horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting and cured-in-place pipe lining. The selected method of rehabilitation is cured-in-place pipe lining. 1. Perform all surveys (see below specification), inspections, geotechnical/environmental investigation, and other services necessary to develop a complete set of engineering plans, specifications and estimates (“PS&Es”) for bidding purposes for cured-in-place pipe lining of the entire segment of the Manor Drive Water Main and the parallel storm sewer in the Manor Drive Easement. 2. Submittal of draft PS&Es to Village staff for review and comment; plans shall be 1”=20’ scale. 3. Development of the permit application and submittal of final PS&Es to the IEPA. 4. Issuance of a “For Bid” set of PS&Es and respond to questions during the bidding period. 5. Preparation of a “For Construction” set of plans and specifications for use in the Village issued Construction Request for Bid (“RFB”), 6. Full-time construction engineering services for the bidding, construction and close-out of the Project. 7. Preparation of record drawings (see below specification). 8. Preparation of a plat of easement for the New Trier Court prescriptive easements. All work shall be performed on Weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except in the case of urgent necessity as determined by the Village. No work shall be performed on Sundays and the following Village Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (the fourth Thursday and Friday in November), and Christmas Day.
