Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will undertake a comprehensive review of the City's vehicle fleet and itsmanagement, addressing the question of whether the fleet is being managed in anefficient, cost effective manner and providing recommendations on improvements. Theconsultant should determine if the City is following best practices for fleet management,given the environment in which the fleet services division operates. Specific areas forreview/ questions to be answered include, but are not limited to:Analysis of the size, composition, and age of the current fleet (provided by City)Analysis of the utilization of vehicles and equipment - (provided by City)Are the City vehicle maintenance practices appropriateIs contract maintenance vs. use of in-house forces cost effective?Analysis of the current organizational structure and resources allocated for bothoperating and capital purposes
