Vendor shall provide maintenance and repair services for all bio-medical equipment and all radiology equipment owned by the Illinois Veterans Home – Quincy (Facility). Hourly rates are set per this contract with one rate for bio-medical equipment and a separate rate for radiology equipment. Repairs will not be limited to this list as facility may have equipment not listed in inventory or may purchase new equipment during this contract. If Vendor is unable to repair equipment, they shall report information to engineering office as soon as possible. All labor, mileage, materials, testing of equipment, instrumentation changes, forms and labels shall be included in the hourly rates. Repairs to equipment shall be made on an individual item basis. Items which are not covered under warranty or facility maintenance contracts, or which cannot be repaired by the Facility personnel will, when possible, be repaired by the Vendor. For repair of equipment, Vendor shall contact Facility Property Control Manager for approval prior to ordering parts. Vendor shall also notify Property Control Manager in cases where the equipment is obsolete, not worth repairing, or when parts are no longer available for the equipment. Vendor shall order repair parts and ensure parts meet the manufacturer’s specifications. All parts and supplies shall be new and unused. Cost of repair parts and shipping charges are billable to the Facility. Parts shall be invoiced to the Facility at Vendor cost. Repaired units shall be tested prior to returning to service at the Facility.
