Be clean and free of foreign debris such as sticks, rocks, grass clippings, seed caps, etc. 2. Be labeled per species and true to that label and not mixed with other species of seed. 3. Be bagged in onion sacks in quantities of no more that 50 pounds per bag. 4. All walnuts need to be husked or hulled and floated with floaters removed. 5. All oak species need to be floated and sorted with all floaters and bad seed removed. 6. All Hickories must have the husk removed. 7. Seed must be viable and current year crop. 8. All seed will be subject to a cut test. Seed that fails a cut test will be rejected. 9. All seed must come from an Illinois ecotype seed source.
