Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this Request for Interest (RFI) is to search for qualified vendors who are interested in providing the County of Alameda, Human Resource Services Department (HRSD) with labor relations consulting services. The County intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a two year contract with option to renew to the bidder(s) selected as most capable of meeting the County’s requirements. The County does not guarantee that a subsequent RFP will be issued. Should an RFP be issued, the terms and conditions described in this RFI are not guaranteed to remain exactly the same. The County has approximately 9,000 employees in addition to approximately 18,000 Home Care Workers employed by the In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority, which is the equivalent of 11,000 full time employees in terms of hours. There are 37 bargaining units represented by 14 labor organizations, which are major stakeholders in the County.
