Scope Summary
The scope for this project generally consists of: Submitting and acquiring IDOT Highway Permit; Demolition work includes tree removal, trimming and selective clearing, concrete pad removal, and removal and milling of existing hot mixed asphalt (HMA) pavement; Improvements to the IDOT right-of-way, including the right-in-turn lane, widening, concrete island, and curb ; Widening and reconstruction on Kautz Road, including excavation and ditch regrading; Providing and installing a concrete pad and guardhouse; Queueing area and turn-around lane; HMA mill and overlay on Indian Creek Road; Barrier gate replacement and field access gate; Replacement of culverts, concrete collars, and selective guardrails; Concrete utility protection pad; Bollard installation; Traffic signage; and Site restoration of the parkway and natural prairie landscape.
