Mandatory Specification M2: There will be one source responsible for parts and service through a local representative with factory-trained service personnel. Mandatory Specification M3: The vendor must have the ability to correct / repair air compressor problems occurring during the contract period. Mandatory Specification M4: Repair service will require 24/7 on-site response by an authorized / certified service engineer. Vendor will be expected to respond on-site for system trouble resolution within four hours, including weekends and holidays, of the vendor receiving notification of system problems or failure. Vendor will be notified via telephone. Repair will be expected within 24 hours of problem diagnosis. The only exception will be if specialty parts are required outside of the manufacturer’s business hours. Repair service includes materials and parts replacement and is billed on a time and material basis. Mandatory Specification M5: When servicing devices, Vendor must use materials and equipment equivalent to those originally installed. Substitutions may only be used with prior IEMA consent. Vendor is to remove and properly dispose of all used or excess material, including, but not limited to, lubricant, filters, etc., as well as all waste product and debris. Disposal shall be in accordance with prevailing federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Mandatory Specification M6: Vendor will provide the preventive maintenance on the eight (8) air compressors listed in this document. Mandatory Specification M7: Vendor or Vendor’s agents involved with delivery at the Nuclear Power Stations shall comply with Constellation Nuclear Power Plant requirements, safety rules, regulations, and procedures. These may include, but are not limited to, urinalysis, background review, escorted visitor or contractor requirements, and vehicle search. Vendor must be cleared by Constellation for access to the protected areas of the power plant. Mandatory Specification M8: Vendor or Vendor’s agents involved with delivery at the Nuclear Power Stations must possess a State issued Real ID to gain access to the site.
