Vendor shall be responsible for the operations of the Joliet Treatment & Inpatient Treatment Center water supply in accordance with IEPA rules and regulations. Vendor shall be a RONIC Class D or higher Certified Water System Operator(s). Vendor/Certified Water System Operator shall provide necessary IEPA required services, including but not limited to sampling testing and reporting Joliet Treatment & Inpatient Treatment Center Water supply weekly, bi-annually and annually. Vendor shall maintain proper records of the specified visits for a minimum of five (5) years to comply with III. Admin. Code 509. Vendor shall be able to communicate for the community water supply and/or regulatory agencies in the event of routine or emergency operational problems. Vendor shall ensure that all necessary and required routine operational control testing is being performed by certified personal and according to State of Illinois water quality standard regulations. Vendor shall issue boil orders when required, including notification to IEPA regional office and State, Local, or County Public Health Department. Vendor shall respond within 24 hours, any requests for information, site visits, and any other requested data. Vendor shall maintain and submit, in a timely manner, all operating records and reports. Included, but not limited to Consumer Confidence Reports, Drinking Water Compliance Monitoring Reports, and Monthly Operating Reports. The Vendor shall meet with the Joliet Treatment & Inpatient Treatment Center representatives upon execution of contract. The meeting will be to identify mutually agreed upon hours during which services will be conducted. Once these hours have been established, there will be no deviation on the part of either party of more than thirty (30) minutes, unless both parties negotiate a new schedule. However, should extenuating circumstance prevail to prevent the Vendor from meeting the thirty-minute criteria, notification will be made to the facility Chief Engineer within a reasonable time. The Vendor will be required to sign the Service Verification Schedule after each visit indicating the areas inspected and treated which will be verified by the facility’s escort. This is to ensure that the requirements outlined in this contract are being met.
