The College of DuPage is requesting proposals on Janitorial Staffing Services. Services shall be performed five (5) nights per week, eight (8) hours per night, except for 10 weeks of the summer term beginning the 1st week of June in which the services shall be performed four (4) nights per week, nine and a half (9½) hours per night. A minimum of sixteen full-time and one part-time (16.5) sixteen and half (16.5) staff members will be needed at all times to perform all the required services identified herein. All personnel furnished by the Contractor shall be employees of the Contractor, and Contractor shall pay all salaries and expenses of, and all federal, social security taxes, federal and state unemployment taxes, and any similar payroll taxes relating to such personnel, and shall carry workmen's compensation insurance for such personnel. The College reserves the right to request certified payroll records. The contractor shall be considered for all purposes hereunder an independent contractor, and it shall not at any time directly or indirectly act as an agent, servant, or employee of the College, or make any commitments or incur any liabilities on behalf of the College without its express written consent.
