Supervision • The Vendor shall provide an adequate amount of personnel and supervision. • The Vendor shall provide a qualified Foreman to supervise each crew engaged in working under this agreement. Failure to do so shall be sufficient cause for the City to give notice that the Vendor is in default of the agreement. • Except for emergencies, the same personnel shall perform the same work each day. • The Vendor shall obtain a completed employment application from each employee, verify information provided, and maintain it on file at his/her place of business. • The Vendor’s appointed supervisors shall have previous cleaning and janitorial experience, and the ability to perform the work if a member of his/her crew is absent. • Supervisors shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. • Supervisors shall have the necessary public relations skills to deal with employees and customers in a professional, courteous manner. • Supervisors shall be able to understand written and oral rules, regulations and instructions and apply them in a tactful non-confrontational manner. • Supervisors shall exercise tact, diplomacy, self-control, and mature judgment under stress. Labor • All cleaning personnel shall be neat and clean in appearance and mentally and physically capable of performing their respective assignments. • All cleaning personnel shall have the ability to read and understand common warning signage. • All cleaning personnel shall have the ability to communicate effectively with City employees and understand oral rules, regulations, and instructions and apply them in a mature professional manner.
