Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vendor will provide all necessary equipment, materials, and personnel for presorting, barcoding, bundling, and delivery of the State’s First-Class and flat metered mail following United States Postal Service (USPS) requirements while minimizing disruption of State activities. Additional services include presorting and bundling of USPS Marketing Class letters and flats, applying postage with a postage meter, inkjet addressing of letters, inkjet addressing of flats, inserting letters, inserting flats, and folding documents. The Vendor will pick up the State’s letter-sized mail metered at the Mixed Automated Area Distribution Center (MAADC) from various Chicago locations in Region 1, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding official state and federal holidays as specified by the USPS.
