Remove existing chimney below the roof line, leave only the metal Flu pipe for the water heater. Install water an approved water barrier over the remaining roof. Install new 30-yr architectural shingles, of homeowner’s choice of color. Install new seamless gutters around the entire roof. New downs and 6’ minimum tailpipes ran off the downs. Install flip up hinges on all the tailpipes. Strap downs with two straps per downpipe securing firmly to the exterior walls. Permit required before work begins.
