Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Vendor shall provide intrusion and fire system central station monitoring of all systems district-wide, approximately thirty (30) facilities. • Vendor shall also be responsible for the servicing of all communication equipment at no additional cost to the DISTRICT • The awarded vendor will be responsible for verifying proper zoning and description of alarm panels. • Vendor will also be responsible for providing all parts, labor, equipment, tools, transportation and mileage and any other activities to fulfill the requirements of specifications at no additional cost to the DISTRICT. • All alarm signals will be monitored by telephone line and/or long-range radio signals or by the DISTRICT approved secondary means of transmission. • All signals for both intrusion and fire systems will be transmitted through an existing security panel. See Appendix A. • The vendor must be able to service, program and supply parts for any and all DISTRICT fire and security panels. See Appendix A. • The DISTRICT prefers vendors who can complete all aspects of the project themselves. Sub-contracting will be accepted, but shall be disclosed in the proposal. All subcontractors will be held to the same terms as the awarded vendor. The DISTRICT reserves the right to contact other firms for quotations and/or to complete repairs that would otherwise be sub-contracted. • Any additional panels for new schools or buildings during the contract term will be added at the time the building is completed and turned over to the district from the construction company.
