Specifications include, but are not limited to:The firm successfully awarded the work will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and transportation necessary for the improvements to this roof. This work will include the installation of applicable insulation to fill flutes of panels and cover exposed rivet tops, installation of a membrane type roof system, applicable installation to protect outside edges of new roof, flashings at all roof penetrations, and cleanup of job-related debris. The completed roof should be cohesive with the existing changes/upgrades that have been made to the North slope. Contractors should inspect the existing roof by contacting Travis Huffman at (309) 299-9628 during normal business hours. For all work contractor shall: •pay prevailing wages and provide certified payrolls to the City of Galesburg. •be registered with the State of Illinois with unlimited roofing license (as required by the Illinois Roofing Industry Licensing Act) and submit copies of proper licensing with bid. •be registered with the City of Galesburg at start of work. •have applicable insurance certificate on file with the City of Galesburg
