The scope of this repair is to: 1. remove the existing pump, motor, column pipe, and related equipment 2. perform a complete inspection, 3. repair or replace deteriorated components, 4. and reinstall and test the pump. The intent of the repair is to inspect, repair, and reinstall the pump so that it produces 1,100 GPM. All component replacement parts shall be manufactured by Byron Jackson or approved equal. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary for the proper execution of the pump work. The contractor shall perform megger checks prior to the start of pulling, and during the reinstallation, recording all results. • The column pipe sections shall be sorted in an orderly manner. A thread protector shall be used on all exposed threads during handling. • The Contractor shall dismantle the pump bowl for visual inspection. If necessary, the bowl shall be taken into the Contractor’s yard for micrometer checks.
