Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to secure an information technology vendor with AWS certification for an initial build of an information technology platform for the community health workers (CHWs) certification program. Southern Illinois University (SIU) Carbondale is partnering with the Illinois Department of Public Health (the Department) to develop and administer a voluntary certification program for CHWsto help ensure high quality performance of CHW services per the Illinois Community Health Worker Certification and Reimbursement Act. This certification will be required for reimbursement of CHW services under the Medicaid program. The time frame is from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 with the option to renew the contract for support and maintenance for two additional three-year periods.
