Overview of the University’s Need: The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) seeks a consulting firm to install, implement and configure Workday Adaptive Planning software that was procured under RFP# EWM187 in April 2025. The software purchase was awarded to Precision Task Group (PTG) for Workday Adaptive Planning software. Qualified firms will have proven and long-term experience in implementing Workday Adaptive Planning software to design and deploy its modules to address the needs below. The selected firm will provide virtual training to various user groups at a frequency that is mutually agreed upon by both parties to ensure effective understanding and utilization of the system. UIC plans to implement the modules in two separate phases. The first phase of implementation shall occur over approximately 12 months: Phase I: • Five-Year Operating Budget • Ten-Year Capital Budget, Including Deferred Maintenance • Long-Range (Ten-Year) Financial Planning The developed solution must be capable of accommodating the complexity of UIC’s financial structure while supporting robust and flexible scenario modeling. UIC plans to implement the additional modules below as the second phase, after the successful implementation of the first three modules: Phase II: • Enrollment and Tuition Revenue Planning • Salary & Wage Cost Impact Modeling • Creditworthiness Simulation & Ratings Management The selected firm will provide expertise in software implementation, integration, training, and support to enable UIC to manage its diverse and complex financial operations, including research grants, tuition revenue, state appropriation, endowment management etc., across its colleges, administrative units, and its academic healthcare enterprise, which includes a faculty practice plan, dental clinics, and a large ambulatory pharmacy system. However, please note that the University of Illinois Hospital and the Mile Square clinics will not be managed through this software solution for this implementation cycle.
