Vibrant Arena (“Owner”) is seeking bids to purchase a new Ice Resurfacer. Owner is requesting a base bid for one (1) ice resurfacer and an alternate for a 2nd ice resurfacer. Owner is also seeking bids for trading-in two (2) ice resurfacers currently owned by the arena. Vibrant Arena reserves the right after consideration of final price and comparing specifications to accept any alternate products or alternate bids. Any alternate products must meet or exceed specifications listed below. Vibrant Arena is a multipurpose facility hosting hockey, other sporting, family, and concert events. Specifications listed are crucial to the use and functionality in the facility. Vibrant Arena has a sand based (tank ice) system. Ice Resurfacer must climb a 10’ wide x 12’ long x 10” high ramp to gain access to the ice surface with entry on/exit off of the ice surface via a 9’10” wide set of double dasher doors. There is no dump pit at the facility, so resurfacer must drive outside to the building’s parking lot approximately 500’ to dump shavings. Vibrant Arena currently owns 77” ice resurfacer replacement blades.
