Experience & Staffing - Vendor will have documented experience providing laundry services to healthcare or long-term care facilities. - Staff will be trained in: - Healthcare linen handling - Infection control procedures - Compliance with OSHA and CDC standards 2. Laundry Facility Requirements - The facility will include: - Commercial-grade washers, dryers, and finishing equipment capable of high-volume processing - Separate clean and soiled processing areas to prevent cross-contamination 3. Infection Control Compliance - Vendor will comply with: - OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards - CDC guidelines - ANSI/AAMI and HLAC best practices - All linens will be processed using: - High-temperature wash cycles - Medical-grade detergents - Validated sanitization procedures - Vendor will maintain temperature logs and perform microbial testing 4. Transportation & Delivery Standards - Vehicles will be: - Dedicated to healthcare laundry - Regularly sanitized - Designed to keep clean and soiled linens fully separated - Chain-of-custody documentation will be required for every pickup and delivery 5. Delivery Frequency & Emergency Response - Vendor will meet scheduled pickups and deliveries 3–4 times per week - Vendor will fulfill emergency or same-day delivery requests as needed - Vendor will maintain adequate linen inventory to prevent shortages - Vendor will be located no more than 30 miles away to ensure rapid emergency response (within 1 hour) 6.
