Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. ISAC and the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) are jointly working on a project to determine income mobility of postsecondary graduates and to track student's performance as it relates to ISAC's outreach efforts as part of the GearUP Program. The approach for this project is to follow all Illinois high school graduates of a given year. For example, all Illinois high school graduates of 2007 are the 'cohort of 2007'. We intend to follow this cohort through post-secondary education (PSE) and into the workforce. Rather than follow a single graduation class, our research staff have selected several graduating classes, or cohorts, in order to produce a more statistically valid outcome. IDES possess income data for this project, while ISAC has high school graduation data, but NSC is the only known source for all PSE data required for this project.
