Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vienna Correctional Center is seeking services from a qualified vendor to provide inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of five (5) dietary exhaust hoods, five (5) ducts and five (5) fans at Vienna Correctional Center and two (2) dietary exhaust hoods, two (2) ducts and two (2) fans at Dixon Springs IIP. This will be a three (3) year contract. Vendor shall provide inspection, cleaning and maintenance to the Dietary exhaust hoods, ducts and fans located at 1) Vienna Correctional Center, 6695 State Route 146 East, Vienna, Illinois and 2) Dixon Springs SIP, 979 State Highway 146 West, Golconda, Illinois. Vendors shall provide the necessary materials, tools and certified workforce to ensure exhaust hoods, ducts and fans are operating at peak performance and in accordance with NFPA 96 industry standards for the cleanliness and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Vendor is responsible for the inspection, cleaning and maintenance to the dietary exhaust hoods, ducts, and fans at Vienna Correctional Center at the beginning of the contract and every six (6) months thereafter until the expiration of the contract and Dixon Springs IIP at the beginning of the contract and every twelve (12) months thereafter until the expiration of the contract. All routine repair parts and filters necessary to maintain the system will be the responsibility of the vendor. Dietary Hood Inspections -- Inspect roof condition around fans. Roof should be free of grease and debris. Inspect condition of exhaust fans and wiring. Inspect condition and cleanliness of filters. All hood lights shall be in working order. Inspect all electrical wiring under hood area. Kitchen area should be clean with no debris under equipment. Pilot lights working. All accessible areas of hood, duct, and stack free of grease. Hood should be free of water spots. Dietary Hood Routine Inspection, Cleaning and Maintenance Hood, ducts, and stack should be cleaned to remove any grease. Fans should be cleaned and tested for proper performance. Grease trough should be cleaned, scraped and free of water. Gas line reconnected and pilot light reignited. Filters shall be cleaned and/or replaced. Equipment in place cleaned and tested. Sticker dated and affixed on each hood.
