Vendor will identify and repair any conditions that are necessary to achieve normal operation or state of manhole/storm drain, drain piping connected to manhole/storm drain, and surrounding concrete and/or earthen areas that demonstrate erosion damage. Vendor agrees to furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete manhole/storm drain, drain piping, and concrete and/or earthen area repairs. Vendor shall remove existing manhole/storm drain and concrete rings. Vendor shall remove cracked concrete pavement surrounding drain and any damaged associated drain piping. Vendor shall dispose of all concrete, storm drain, piping, and/or other removed materials off Center grounds in a manner consistent with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Vendor will replace manhole/storm drain with new and replace any damaged piping to and from the manhole/storm drain. Vendor shall repair any ground erosion and concrete areas associated with the manhole/storm drain or any associated piping. Vendor will replace damaged concrete walkways in and around the manhole/storm drain and/or any that are damaged due to associated drain piping. Chief Engineer shall verify replacement storm drain, piping, and walkways/earthen areas have been repaired to operational functionality. All repairs will be discussed with and approved by the Chief Engineer. Vendor shall maintain records of all work, maintenance and repairs and shall furnish copies of same to Chief Engineer. Maintenance and routine repairs and service are to be performed during normal work hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and workdays, unless receiving prior authorization from the Chief Engineer. Vendor will confine its operations when on-site to areas as determined by the Chief Engineer. Vendor shall obtain and observe all site safety regulations provided by the East Moline Correctional Center. Vendor shall report the existence of any defective equipment, controls, instruments and/or accessories which may require replacement or repairing. This information shall be given to the Chief Engineer in writing.
