Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor/Vendor shall supply the Centralia Correctional Center with two (40) cubic yard roll-off containers that are compatible with existing compactors and dispose of the content in a manner that complies with all laws, rules, and regulations governing the transportation and disposal of refuse as required by the State of Illinois and/or the Environmental Protection Agency. The Contractor/Vendor shall wash and sterilize the roll-off container at a place approved by the Environmental Protection Agency before returning the roll-off container to the Centralia Correctional Center. Contractor/Vendor shall have the proper equipment to pick up the roll-off containers, empty, sterilize and return it to the Centralia Correctional Center within a four hour period. Should the roll-off container be rendered unusable, the Contractor/Vendor shall, at their expense, furnish the Center with a replacement roll-off container compatible with the Center’s trash compactor. Roll-off containers will be emptied on every other Tuesday. Additional pickups may be requested on an as needed basis by the Authorized Center Personnel (Chief Stationary Engineer or Designee). The Contractor/Vendor shall supply a 2000 gallon (minimum size) horizontal liquid container to the Centralia Correctional Center. Container must have a 26” square manhole (minimum) with lock down lid and seal. Lid to have sides made with 25” radius from hinge welded to it, that stays in container when lid is open or closed. Lid must open 100 degrees from a closed position and close length-wise container for front ending loading.
