Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) is giving notice of intent to amend contract I-18-4698 with ESI Consultants, LTD. This contract is for design and construction management upon request services for the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490). The work includes design related environmental site assessments and geotechnical investigations, construction management services for I-90 collector distributor roadway construction and maintenance facility construction, and on call and as needed work related to the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490) and IL Route 390 Tollway. This 1st supplement is to provide for additional construction management services for the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490). The added services are required to complete work associated with the I-490 corridor and North Avenue interchange work that was extended to accommodate and prioritize the Central Tri-State Tollway reconstruction, address delays caused by unforeseen site conditions, and accommodate ongoing coordination with other involved agencies that are partnering with the Tollway. The original contract was solicited on PSB 18-3 (Item 3) on 08/06/2018 on IPB 22042806 and approved by the Tollway Board on 11/29/2018 via Board Resolution 21687 for $7,000,000.00. This 1st supplement will increase the contract upper limit by $1,990,462.94 increasing the contract amount to $8,990,462.94.
