Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Carrollton is seeking a Credit Counseling Agency to provide Homebuyer Education and Counseling Services to the City of Carrollton, Homebuyer Assistance Program. The agency must be approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) to provide Comprehensive Housing, Counseling and Housing Education Programs. The 8-hour workshop must meet standards approved by Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and HUD. A Lender’s Certificate must be awarded to each participant that successfully completes the workshop. The workshop will be offered to the citizens/participants/applicants for free. All materials must be provided by the Homebuyer Education and Counseling Agency. The workshop will be held in a facility to be determined by the City of Carrollton, Texas
