Dover 3,000 to 3,500 tons (rock salt) 300 tons (solar salt for brine making system) ** Rochester 4,000 to 4,500 tons (solar salt) Somersworth 1,500 to 2,000 tons (solar salt). The City of Dover activated a salt based brine manufacturing system a couple years ago for snow storm related road surface pre-treatment application, this year's requirement will probably be approximately 300 tons. 4. Delivery shall be made as needed and requested in the amount specified by the user. Vendor must identify the minimum order required for delivery. 5. Salt shall be free of excessive moisture, free flowing and anti-caking. 6. Price quoted shall be per ton, F.O.B. (delivery included) to the salt sheds in Dover, Rochester or Somersworth, respectively.
