Specifications include, but are not limited to: supply and install optical turnstiles with motorized swinging barriers within the existing Activities and Recreation Center (“ARC”) at 201 Peabody Drive, and at the Campus Recreation Center East (“CRCE”), 1102 Gregory Drive both in Champaign, Illinois. The installation of the optical turnstile with motorized swinging barriers shall be coordinated with University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, Construction Services Department (“UIUC – CSD”). UIUC – CSD shall provide and install all required supporting infrastructure for the new barriers. UIUC – CSD shall remove the existing access control barriers at ARC (Barriers remain at CRCE), repair and refinish the existing terrazzo floors. UIUC – CSD shall remove the existing control desk and provide and install the new control desk. The supporting infrastructure provided and installed by UIUV – CSD includes the installation of conduit, boxes, and power and data lines as required for a complete installation of the optical motorized gates.
