Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All equipment and accessories to charge battery for ice resurfacing machine must be included. 2. Must be equipped with a 77 inch minimum to 84 inch maximum shaving blade. Blade holding apparatus shall secure the blade so that the ends are tapered upward approximately 1/16 inch to ensure a feather edge effect under normal shaving conditions. Shaving apparatus shall include a spring loaded down pressure system that provides constant downward force on the shaving blade. The blade height and angle adjustment shall be made from outside of the shaving unit and accomplished in a single, easy to accomplish procedure. 3. Axle loading must be fully approved by the original equipment manufacturer for the application and minimum capabilities of axles must be: Front 6,400 lbs. and Rear 6,200 lbs. 4. Must have a traction drive motor directly mounted to a transfer case along with brush wear sensors. Drive motor shall be a minimum 17.5 HP, with vehicle speed range of 0-12 MPH. Machine speed control must be through a foot operated device. 5. Snow collection tank must dump forward from a minimum height of 48 inches. Dump tank must be enclosed and actual volume provided for snow shavings must be no less than 100 cubic feet. Dump tank must have the capacity to hold a minimum of 110 gallons of water that can be dumped at a location away from the ice surface. 6. Snow must be collected and carried from the surface of the ice by means of a conveyor system which throws the snow into the dump tank by a high capacity slinger of approximately 16 inches in diameter. All conveyor augers must have a minimum of 10 inches and should be double flighted. 7. Chassis must be equipped with four (4) wheel drive and front wheel steering. Steering control must be by an automobile-type steering wheel. 8. Must include an auxiliary pump that powers the machine's hydraulic system. Pump should be driven by a separate motor. 9. Must have front and rear brakes as well as a parking brake.
