The service must: Employ and make available to the ISP consultant(s) who have obtained a PhD in Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or Clinical Psychology with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Law Enforcement or consulting Law Enforcement. Employ and make available to the ISP at a minimum one (1) consultant(s) that has extensive experience investigating concerning and threatening communications, managing investigators and/or threat assessment professionals. Submit professional degree and resume for all consultants with Bid. Be available to the ISP within a reasonable amount of time for consultation with the ISP BTAM Team. The services will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team reviewing behavioral evidence and providing context of that evidence to the ISP BTAM Team. Meeting times vary. We like to keep them within business hours 8AM – 5PM. Minimum 4 times per month, could be a maximum of 4 times per week. Depending on cases. The member participating with the ISP must have completed threat assessment training and education, and provide all applicable certifications. Each member serving the ISP must pass a background check and drug test. Ensure secure communication, storage, and destruction of any records provided by the ISP during the BTAM and investigative processes. This service will not meet with or provide any clinical diagnosis of subjects. 2. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Provide professional opinions and recommendations to ISP command regarding the ISP BTAM process, assessment tools, training curriculums, continuing education seminars, and policies and procedures. Participate in ISP BTAM triage and assessment meetings regarding concerning communications, threatening communications, active threats, threat assessments, and threat investigations. Assist ISP investigators when necessary, by consulting on mental health and other related matters, during active investigations, assess person of concern’s mindset, motivation, behaviors, intentions and identify warning signs and violence risk levels. Assist in development of management strategies specific to the cases, person of concern, or available resources. Provide guidance and consultation with ISP partners assigned to assist persons of concern that have been identified as posing a risk during the ISP BTAM process. Develop and deliver training to certified ISP BTAM investigators. Recommend and identify mental health resources, and victim resources to ISP investigators and the ISP BTAM Team. Assist the ISP Legal office when necessary by providing professional guidance and consultation related to mental health practices and procedures. Provide upon request industry research, data, and associated information to assist the ISP in active investigations and the continuing development of the BTAM program.
